  • Dr Roohollah B Mahani

    Managing Director

    Roohollah brings over 35 years of combined experience in academia and industry. He earned his PhD in Civil Engineering from UMIST (University of Manchester) and began his academic career there in 1981, later moving to City University London in 1983.

    Transitioning into industry in 1986, he held senior leadership positions, including Technical Director, Project Director, and Managing Director across three successful consultancy firms. While his core expertise lies in Civil Engineering, his ventures have also provided him with extensive knowledge in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas. He has significant experience in oil and gas risk assessment and is currently engaged in the reliability analysis of jack-ups.

    To further strengthen his leadership and management skills, Roohollah completed an Executive MBA at the University of Hertfordshire in 2004. He continues to bridge academia and industry, serving as an Honorary Reader in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Brunel University London.

  • Colin R Gamblin

    Operations Director

    Colin brings over 30 years of experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams in the oil and gas industry, covering both upstream onshore and offshore developments. He has a deep understanding of the commercial and technical challenges involved in delivering complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes from planning through to completion.

    With a strong background in project management and construction, Colin is highly skilled at organising and executing projects where time constraints and cost targets are critical factors.

    Previously, he served as Divisional Director within Mott MacDonald’s Oil, Gas, and Petrochemicals Unit, where he oversaw project delivery from inception to completion. His responsibilities included pre-investment appraisal, cost and schedule management, and the administration of contracts, purchase orders, and service orders.

  • Kevin McLoughlin

    Finance Director

    Kevin brings over 35 years of expertise in civil engineering, finance, and project management. A graduate in Civil Engineering and a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE), Kevin built his career with leading contractors such as George Wimpey, Richard Costain, and Johnston Construction, where he held senior management roles focused on procurement and project delivery.

    He has led major projects across the Middle East, including a technology transfer initiative in Iraq, where he was responsible for overall management, finance, and procurement. His international career has taken him throughout the Middle East, Europe, North America, and South America, providing him with extensive experience in global business ventures.

    Drawing on this background, Kevin now plays a key role in promoting Belmore Energy’s projects worldwide.

  • Dr Pouyan T Sardari

    Technical Director

    Dr Pouyan Sardari  is currently a Senior research fellow in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham. Pouyan received his B.Sc. (2008), M.Sc. (2011) and PhD (2016) in Mechanical Engineering. His current research interests include thermal management of batteries and electric motors, Computational fluid dynamics, phase change materials, energy storage, two-phase flow, particle deposition and dispersion, turbulent flows, heat and mass transfer, and pollution control. So far, he has published more than 150 ISI papers and participated in more than 10 industrial projects. He is also among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in 2020-2021.

  • Prof Sirous Yasseri

    Senior Consultant

    More than forty years experience in design of onshore and offshore facilities, pipelines, quantitative methods, risk & reliability based design, multivariable decision making, probabilistic risk analyses, reliability analysis, risk mitigation, fire & explosion risk assessment and design, design target setting ( design philosophies and design briefs), reliability based life extension of aging pipelines and structures, general safety and structural engineering, research, QRA, earthquake resistant design and specialised non-linear dynamic analysis, safety cases. Sirous is professor Emeritus at Brunel University London and currently his research include Hydrogen Storage tank and pipeline

  • Soudeh Najmei

    Office Manager / Head of Administration

    As our Office Manager and Head of Administration, Soudeh is the organisational backbone of Belmore Energy and Belmore Offshore. She oversees the smooth running of our day-to-day operations, ensuring that every aspect of our office and administrative functions supports the team in delivering reliable and efficient solutions. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, she manages a wide range of tasks, including internal processes and compliance, as well as employee support and resource coordination.

    Her leadership in administration not only strengthens our internal operations but also reflects our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and integrity in the energy sector.

  • Hooman Assadi

    IT Manager


    Hooman is our dedicated IT Manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technology operations. He ensures that our systems run smoothly on a daily basis, from managing hardware and software to troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining network security. Hooman also supports the team with day-to-day IT needs, implements best practices to keep our infrastructure reliable, and helps us stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies. His expertise allows the rest of the team to focus on their work with confidence, knowing our IT environment is in safe hands.
